Ummi tells a tale of a woman who is recently left by her husband, but soon after decides to care for three troubled kids – a thief, a beggar with polio and a sexually abused young girl. Despite being poor and illiterate, Ummi invites them to live with her while she teaches them meaningful life lessons until her untimely death two years later.
